UN Condemns Ongoing Israeli Escalation in Gaza

New York – SANA

The United Nations has reiterated its condemnation of the continued military escalation and blockade imposed by Israeli forces on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, particularly in recent days.

According to the UN News Center, spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric highlighted in his daily press briefing the devastating impact of the Israeli offensive on civilians, stating that they are “enduring immense suffering and severe hunger.” He warned that food insecurity is expected to worsen, especially among children, unless safe and sustained humanitarian access is ensured.

Dujarric also renewed calls for the protection of civilians and humanitarian workers, and urged full respect for international law.
