Doha, SANA- The Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit convened Monday in Doha, with the participation of President Ahmad Al-Sharaa, to denounce the treacherous Israeli aggression against the State of Qatar and to reaffirm Arab and Islamic solidarity.
In his opening speech, the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, described the attack on Qatar as cowardly and reckless, targeting residential areas and violating international law.
Emir of Qatar: Israel seeks to undermine peace efforts
He emphasized Qatar’s efforts to halt the destructive war on Gaza, which has escalated into a campaign of mass extermination, and condemned the targeting of negotiators and mediators, which seeks to undermine peace efforts used as a political tactic alongside war.
Sheikh Tamim warned that Israel’s actions aim to render Gaza uninhabitable as a prelude to displacing its population.
He affirmed that Israel’s regional schemes will not succeed and noted that Israel does not merely reject peace with its neighbors but seeks to impose its will upon them.
Concluding his remarks, the Emir stressed that acceptance of the Arab Peace Initiative would have spared the region countless tragedies.
OIC: solidarity with Qatar
The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hissein Brahim Taha, condemned the Israeli aggression, expressed full solidarity with Qatar, and called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities to stop the assaults.

Arab league: cowardly and vile action
Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit described Israel’s attack on civilians, negotiators, and mediators as cowardly and vile, warning that boasting about such acts reflects an unprecedented moral collapse.
He stressed that Israel’s current leadership is wanted by the International Criminal Court and has added new crimes to its record.
Aboul Gheit further emphasized that Israel’s crimes in Gaza and the region will not be forgotten and undermine every foundation for peaceful coexistence.
Iraq: dangerous escalation
Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani described the attack on Qatar as a dangerous escalation and a violation of international law and diplomatic norms, threatening the security of all Arab nations.

He called for moving from condemnation to coordinated collective action among Arab and Islamic states and for forming a broad alliance to confront these challenges.
Jordan condemns Israeli aggression
King Abdullah II of Jordan condemned the aggression as a serious escalation that pushes the region toward conflict and a clear violation of international law.

He warned that Israel’s extremist government persists because the international community allows it to operate above the law and affirmed that the aggression against Qatar demonstrates that the Israeli threat has no limits.
Egypt: serious threat
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi described the attack as a grave violation of international law and a serious threat to Arab and Islamic security.

He stressed that Israel’s reckless and destabilizing behavior risks widening the conflict and escalating tensions, and called for unified Arab and Islamic action to confront it.
Turkey: terrorist mentality
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan condemned the aggression, stating that it represents an unprecedented level of Israeli lawlessness.
He denounced Israel’s terrorist mentality, which thrives on bloodshed and chaos, and affirmed that the Islamic nation possesses the ability to thwart Israeli expansionist ambitions.
Erdoğan warned that Israel continues to drag the region into chaos and instability, committing crimes and massacres against the Palestinian people.
Palestinian president: end of war of extermination
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas expressed full solidarity with Qatar, affirming that any aggression against an Arab or Islamic state is an aggression against all.
He highlighted that regional security and stability require an end to the war of extermination, displacement, and land theft, and the conclusion of the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories.
Tajikistan: blatant violation
Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon described the Israeli aggression against Doha as a blatant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, obstructing efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.
He emphasized that strengthening the unity of the Islamic nation is now more necessary than ever amid the complex global geopolitical landscape.
The summit concluded by reaffirming the unwavering solidarity of Arab and Islamic nations with Qatar and the Palestinian people, emphasizing the necessity of coordinated collective action to confront aggression and uphold justice across the region.
