Occupied Jerusalem, July 3 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces arrested three Palestinians on Friday during raids across several areas of the West Bank, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).
The arrests took place after Israeli forces entered a neighborhood in the city of Qalqilya, the town of Jayyous east of the city, and the village of Al-Lubban al-Sharqiya near Nablus.
Israeli troops also raided the New Askar and Al-Ain refugee camps near Nablus, the town of Al-Zawiya west of Salfit, and the town of Tuqu’ east of Bethlehem, searching homes and ransacking their contents.
Separately, Israeli settlers stormed the village of Abu Falah and the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah, preventing Palestinian residents from accessing their agricultural land.
The raids followed the arrest of 12 Palestinians across the occupied West Bank on Thursday.
Palestinian prisoners’ organizations said on Thursday that about 9,400 Palestinians were being held in Israeli prisons as of the beginning of July, including more than 350 children and 99 women. The figures were released in a joint statement by the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society, and Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association.
