Occupied Jerusalem, Jul. 2 (SANA) Israeli forces carried out raids across several towns and villages in the occupied West Bank on Thursday, arresting 12 Palestinians.
According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, Israeli forces raided the towns of al-Dhahiriya, Beit Ummar, Sa’ir, Beit Awwa, and Umm Al-Khair in the Masafer Yatta area of Hebron, as well as Meithalun and the village of Sanur southeast of Jenin, detaining 11 Palestinians.
In the city of Tulkarm, Israeli soldiers arrested another Palestinian and searched several homes in the suburbs of Shuweika and Iktaba, as well as several neighborhoods in Nablus.
Separately, Israeli forces closed the Atara and Nabi Saleh checkpoints north of Ramallah in all directions and established additional military checkpoints at the entrances to the villages of Aboud and Ein Siniya, as well as at Wadi Hilweh and Bab Al-Maghariba in the Silwan neighborhood of occupied Jerusalem, disrupting civilian movement.
The forces also demolished a house in the town of Tuqu’ southeast of Bethlehem and a farm structure in the village of Duma south of Nablus.
On Wednesday, Israeli forces arrested 17 Palestinians, including five women and a journalist, during raids across the occupied West Bank.
