Ministry of Interior: Deployment of forces in Sweida aims to protect civilians

Damascus, SANA-  The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the entry of government forces into Sweida aims exclusively to control the situation and protect residents, warning against any violations or attacks on property, as strict legal measures will be taken against any individual proven to be involved in such acts.

In a statement posted Tuesday on its Telegram channel, the ministry said: ” As part of the mission to maintain security and impose stability following the entry of government forces into Sweida city, we warn against committing any violations or attacks on public or private property, under any pretext.”
