Closure of Kasab border crossing on the Turkish side due to fires in Syrian coastal mountains

Latakia, SANA- Director of Relations at the General Authority for Land and Sea Ports, Mazen Alloush , announced Friday a temporary closure of Kasab border crossing on Turkish side in Latakia countryside

“We inform passengers that Kasab crossing point has been temporarily closed from the Turkish side, due to the fires raging in the coastal mountains as the flames are getting closer to the border area. “Alloush said in a post on the “X” platform

For several days, firefighting teams and the Syrian Civil Defense have been working and exerting great efforts to extinguish fires that broke out in several areas of the Latakia countryside.
