Homs, SANA- The Internal Security Directorate in Talkalakh area of Homs countryside arrested criminal Brigadier General Riad Hamdo al-Shahada, who previously held several positions within Political Security during the defunct regime, in a number of governorates, most recently serving as Head of the Political Security Branch in Damascus.
The Ministry of Interior announced on its Telegram channel that the criminal Brigadier General Riad Hamdo al-Shahada was implicated in committing war crimes against the Syrian people, including the execution of hundreds of revolutionaries—among them women—as well as arbitrary arrests. He has been referred to the competent judicial authorities to initiate the necessary legal proceedings.
