Syria and Jordan explore expanded partnership in local administration

Syria and Jordan explore expanded partnership in local administration

Damascus, SANA- Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Eng. Mohammad Anjarani, explore with Chargé d’Affaires of the Jordanian Embassy in Damascus, Basel Al-Kayed,  avenues for mutual cooperation and the exchange of expertise on relevant issues.

Minister Anjarani emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing ministerial coordination in local administration, public services, and environmental sectors. He highlighted the value of mutual visits and knowledge-sharing, noting Jordan’s valuable experience in these fields.
Syria and Jordan explore expanded partnership in local administration

Anjarani also praised Jordan’s supportive stance in helping extinguish the wildfires currently affecting Syria’s coastal region. He noted that Jordan had dispatched civil defense teams to aid in the efforts to contain forest fires in the northern countryside of Latakia an act that reflects the deep-rooted and historic ties between the two nations.

For his part, the Jordanian envoy expressed his country’s readiness to assist the Syrian government across all sectors. He affirmed Jordan’s commitment to contributing to Syria’s recovery through the Supreme Coordination Council between the two countries and by developing joint action plans and programs in areas of shared interest.
