Lattakia, SANA- Interior Minister, Anas Khattab, said that Internal Security Forces are standing side by side with Civil Defense to put out fires that have spread across large areas in Qastal Maaf area of Lattakia countryside.
“Internal security is working to protect our people in the region from the risk of the fires spreading towards populated areas, which imposes a great responsibility on us to protect and defend them, Khattab said in a post on Xplatform.
Firefighting, emergency and civil defense teams from various ministries and provinces are working to control the fires that have widely spread across large areas north of Lattakia countryside.
