More than 13 fires extinguished in Lattakia countryside

Lattakia, SANA-Syrian Civil Defense firefighting teams extinguished more than 13 fires that broke out in various areas in Lattakia countryside over the past 24 hours.

Abdul Kafi Kayal, director of the Syrian Coastal Directorate of the Civil Defense, told SANA reporter that the fires extinguished varied between fires in industrial facilities, gas stations, shops, and weeds, in addition to forest fires, which firefighting teams are still monitoring to prevent re-ignition.More than 13 fires extinguished in Lattakia countryside

Kayal pointed out that helicopters are being used to extinguish the fire in Attira in Jabal al-Turkman area, and the fire that broke out in Wadi Jahannam in Latakia countryside, due to the presence of mines and unexploded ordnance left behind by the defunct regime, which pose a great danger to the safety of the teams.
