Road cleaning and mine clearance campaign in Jabal al-Akrad, Lattakia countryside

Lattakia,SANA – Al-Haffa area administration, in cooperation with engineering teams from the Syrian Army’s 50th Division and the Technical Services Directorate, conducted a field campaign to clear roads and remove mines in several towns and villages in Jabal al-Akrad. Lattakia Governorate stated on its Telegram channel that the campaign, which lasted for the past three days, included clearing main roads in several towns with the aim of facilitating traffic and ensuring the return of residents. 37 anti-tank mines, 7 television mines, and 5 light mines were removed amid close monitoring by the relevant authorities to ensure the complete safety of the area.
