Education Sector Workers: Increasing salaries in Syria is a qualitative shift towards a decent life

Damascus, SANA- A number of employees in the Ministry of Education expressed their satisfaction at the decree issued by President Ahmad al-Sharaa stipulating a 200% increase in salaries and wages, stressing that this increase represents a qualitative leap, motivating them to exert their utmost efforts in order to raise the educational level and serve students, and it also reflects the government’s interest in state employees.

On June 22, President Ahmad al-Sharaa issued Legislative Decrees No. 102 and 103 of 2025, stipulating a 200% increase in the salaries and fixed wages of both civilian and military personnel, as well as the salaries of pensioners.
