Syrian Air Corridors reopen following temporary closure

Damascus, SANA-The Syrian Civil Aviation Authority has announced the reopening of air corridors that were temporarily closed to air traffic in Syrian airspace due to recent regional tensions.

In a statement shared via its Telegram channel, the Authority clarified that air corridors will return to normal operation starting Tuesday, 24 June 2025. The closure had been in effect since 18 June of this year.

The airspace over several countries in the region had recently been closed to civilian aviation amid escalating military tensions between Israel and Iran.
