Minister of Social Affairs, Assistant Secretary-General of Presidency explore refugee issues and begging phenomenon

Damascus, SANA– Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Hind Kabawat, and Mr. Ali Kadah, Assistant Secretary-General of the Presidency for Cabinet Affairs, have explored several critical files related to the situation of refugees and internally displaced persons, both within Syria and abroad.

The meeting focused on enhancing inter-ministerial cooperation to ensure an effective response to socially significant issues and explored strategies for developing service-oriented institutions with a humanitarian focus.

According to the ministry’s Telegram channel, the discussions also addressed the phenomenon of begging and the need to establish comprehensive national mechanisms to reduce it. In addition, the parties reviewed various administrative and organizational matters aimed at improving performance within the ministry and its affiliated bodies.
