Idleb governor:Work has started to set up free zone in the province

Idleb, SANA-Idleb governor Mohammad Abdul Rahman said, Saturday, that the work has started on establishing a free zone east of Idleb city, at the intersection of international roads.

In a statement published by the governorate’s Telegram channel, the governor said that this project comes within the framework of the governorate’s ongoing support for stimulating the local economy and encouraging investment in Idleb province.

He said that this project is one of the important strategic projects, through which we aspire to create a stimulating investment environment, boost economic activity in the region, and provide a large number of job opportunities for our people inside.

The governor pointed out that an agreement was reached with the head of the General Authority for Land and Sea Ports to initiate procedures for establishing a second free zone dedicated to car showrooms and trade, with the aim of regulating and expanding this vital sector to serve the interests of citizens and traders alike.

Abdul Rahman affirmed the governorate’s full commitment to supporting all initiatives and projects that contribute to enhancing economic stability and opening new horizons for development in Idleb governorate.
