Israeli occupation forces kill one civilian, kidnap seven from Beit Jinn, Damascus countryside

Damascus, SANA-  In a provocative and flagrant violation, Israeli occupation forces killed Thursday one civilian and kidnaped seven others during a raid in the town of Beit Jinn, Damascus countryside, Ministry of Interior said.

The Ministry said in a statement “In light of the continued violations committed by the Israeli occupation forces, an Israeli military force comprised of tanks, armored personnel carriers, and infantry vehicles, accompanied by a reconnaissance drones, entered the village of Beit Jinn in Qatana area in Damascus countryside at dawn today.”

It added that during the raid the occupation forces “carried out arrests and shooting against civilians, resulting in the martyrdom of one civilian and kidnapping of seven others who were transferred to the occupied territories with their fate remains unknown”.

The ministry stressed that “these repeated provocations constitute a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic and a blatant breach of international laws and conventions”.

“These practices cannot lead to stability in the region and will only lead to further tension and unrest” the statement concluded.
