Damascus, SANA-The Central Bank of Syria said Wednesday that monetary policy issues, the SWIFT system, and the issuance of the national currency are the exclusive task of the Central Bank and are managed according to strict professional standards that take into account the public interest and economic and financial stability.
In a statement posted on its Telegram channel, the CBS added that the Bank is keen on permanent and transparent communication with citizens, and gives priority to enhancing public understanding of monetary policies and procedures, while committing to providing information from official and approved sources.
