Damascus, SANA The Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management has announced the integration of the Syrian Civil Defense organization, “White Helmets,” into the ministry.
Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management Raed Saleh stated in a press conference on Tuesday that the integration of the Syrian Civil Defense aims to enhance national emergency response efforts.
Minister Saleh also pointed out that, according to human rights organizations, the number of missing persons in Syria stands at 140,000.
Additionally, the minister mentioned that there are indications of mass graves, but no statistics are available regarding their number.
