Lattakia, SANA-Civil Defense firefighting teams, the Agriculture Directorate’s fire brigade, and local residents are continuing their efforts to extinguish a forest fire that broke out in the Safkoun area in the Lattakia countryside.
Civil Defense stated that firefighting teams are facing significant difficulties in controlling the fire due to high wind speeds and the difficult mountainous terrain, which hinders fire trucks from reaching all areas.
