Damascus, SANA- The Ministry of Interior announced that the Anti-Narcotics Department successfully apprehended individuals “M.A.” and “Kh.Kh.” who were involved in smuggling a shipment of narcotics from Lebanese territory into Syria.
According to the ministry, authorities seized 2,000 grams of heroin—a highly dangerous narcotic—along with a firearm and a sum of money in their possession.
The suspects have been referred to the relevant judicial authorities for legal proceedings.
