Brussels, SANA- Chargé d’Affaires of the European Union Delegation to Syria, Michael Ohnmacht, welcomed the formation of the National Committee for Transitional Justice and the National Committee for Missing Persons in Syria.
“I welcome the formation of the National Committee for Transitional Justice and the National Committee for Missing Persons in Syria, which is an important step towards addressing critical issues in the process of comprehensive justice.” Ohnmacht tweeted.
He added: “The EU hopes that the committees will cooperate with Syrian civil society and international human rights organizations, and is ready to cooperate if requested.”.
