Lattakia Water Establishment, French Islamic Relief Organization discuss cooperation

Lattakia, SANA-Eng. Abdel Khaleq Diab, Director General of the Public Drinking Water and Sanitation Establishment in Lattakia, met with a delegation from the French Islamic Relief Organization (SIF) to discuss mechanisms of cooperation on various projects aimed at providing water services to villages in Lattakia’s countryside.

The establishment stated Tuesday on its official Facebook page that the meeting at its headquarters reviewed details of rehabilitating the Dahr Armati reservoir and the Deirutan reservoir in Jableh countryside.

The discussion highlighted the urgent need for pump maintenance to ensure continuous water supply and alleviate the hardships faced by residents.

Additionally, the meeting explored several proposed projects that would serve villages in Lattakia countryside as part of a broader effort to secure sustainable water sources for affected communities and effectively respond to their needs.
