Syria strongly condemns the recent Israeli attacks its territory

Damascus, SANA- Syria strongly condemned the recent Israeli attacks on Daraa, stressing that these continued attacks on Syrian territory pose a direct threat to regional and international security.

“The Syrian Arab Republic condemns in the strongest terms the recent Israeli airstrikes on Daraa on March 17, 2025, which claimed the lives of two Syrian citizens and the injury of 19 others,” Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday,  noting that this aggressive act is part of a campaign waged by “Israel” against the Syrian people and stability in the country.

The ministry affirmed that the continued Israeli attacks on Syrian territory not only constitute a violation of international law, but also represent a direct threat to regional and international security.

It noted that those deliberate attacks, carried out without any deterrent, reveal Israel’s complete disregard for international laws and norms, under pretexts that no longer hold any credibility.

Syria called on the United Nations, the Security Council, and all responsible international bodies to act without delay to put an end to those illegal actions and implement the 1974 Agreement.
