Death toll of southern Raml neighborhood of Lattakia, reaches to 16 deaths

Lattakia, SANA- The Syrian Civil Defense announced the completion of search and rescue operations in the collapsed residential building in southern Raml neighborhood, Lattakia city.

The Civil Defense said in a post on its Telegram Channel that the death toll had reached to 16, among whom are five women and five children, in addition to 18 wounded, among them six children, as the rescue work continued for 14 hours with participation of four Syrian Civil Defense staff.

Civil Defense added that the residential building collapsed due to an explosion that took place Saturday evening in a hardware store, the explosion happened due to war remnants, according to initial reports.
