Tartous Governor calls on residents to return to their homes after defeating remnants of the former regime

Tartous,SANA-Tartous Governor, Ahmad Al-Shami, called on Tuesday the residents to return to their homes after the remnants of the former regime were defeated.

“To our honorable people in Tartous Governorate, we call on you to return to your homes after defeating the remnants of the defunct regime, and we assure you that the army and public security forces are deployed throughout the governorate, to ensure your safety, protect your property, and establish security and stability.” Al-Shami said in a statement published by the media office of Tartous Governorate on its official page.

“We count on your awareness and solidarity with the security services, as joint cooperation is the way to establish security and restore life to normal”.” the statement added “Let us stand united in the face of anyone who tries to destabilize our governorate, and work together for a safer and more prosperous future”
