Damascus, SANA- “We welcome the positive step taken by the European Union to suspend sanctions on Syria for one year in preparation for their final lifting,” Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Asaad al-Shaibani said.
“We hope that this decision will have a positive impact on all aspects of life for the Syrian people and ensure sustainable development,” al-Shaibani added in a tweet on X platform.
