Israeli forces raid several villages in Quneitra countryside

Quneitra, Dec. 16 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces advanced into several villages and towns in the Quneitra countryside on Tuesday, SANA reporter said.

The reporter noted that an Israeli military unit, consisting of three vehicles, entered the village of Bariqa. The forces conducted patrols along the road connecting the “Kabbas” water well and the battery factory, which is located between the villages of Bariqa and Kodna in southern Quneitra.

On Monday, Israeli forces also infiltrated several areas in both northern and southern Quneitra, setting up checkpoints, searching pedestrians, and disrupting local movement.

Israel continues its aggressive actions, violating the 1974 Disengagement Agreement by advancing into the countrysides of Quneitra and Daraa, while also attacking civilians.

Syria has repeatedly called for the full withdrawal of Israeli forces from its territory and urged the international community to fulfill its responsibilities in ending these illegal practices.
