Quneitra, Dec 13 (SANA) Israeli forces carried out new incursions on Saturday into several villages in the southern countryside of Syria’s Quneitra province.
SANA reporter in Quneitra said an Israeli patrol entered the village of Beer Ajam and later advanced into village of Breiqa, where troops searched several homes.
At the same time, Israeli forces reportedly opened fire from two military positions, one west of Tal Ahmar al‑Gharbi and another west of the village of al‑Mashiyda, while continuing earth‑moving operations in the area.
Earlier in the day, Israeli units entered the village of Sayda al‑Hanout, setting up a checkpoint at its main entrance before moving further inside and searching additional homes.
Israeli forces continue their aggressive policies and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into rural areas of Quneitra and Daraa. Syria continues to call for the implementation of relevant UN resolutions and for an end to Israel’s presence on Syrian territory, urging the international community to act against what it describes as unlawful practices.
