Damascus, Dec. 3 (SANA) The Syrian Ministry of Defense is finalizing preparations for the Military Exhibition of the Syrian Revolution at the Damascus Fairgrounds. The exhibition will showcase models of military vehicles and equipment used in battles, as part of events marking Liberation Day.
Assem Ghlyoun, Director of Media and Communications at the Ministry of Defense, told SANA that the exhibition includes several pavilions. One displays models of armoured vehicles and machinery used in past battles, while another highlights traces left on equipment during field operations against the former regime’s forces.

He added that the exhibition also features a pavilion dedicated to weapons developed and manufactured locally in recent years, such as the “Fateh” armoured vehicle, which will be unveiled for the first time. In addition, there will be documentary materials and photographs illustrating production processes and development efforts carried out by local teams under difficult conditions.
Ghlyoun noted that the exhibition will include a section dedicated to children, along with educational activities accompanying the visit, aimed at allowing families to explore the exhibition’s content in an organized manner.

He stated that the exhibition’s goal is to present a comprehensive overview of achievements in the defense industry and highlight the capabilities developed by Syrian technicians and engineers over the past years.
