Jeddah, Dec. 02 (SANA) The 15th General Assembly of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI) opened Tuesday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with the participation of a Syrian delegation headed by Vice President of the Central Organization for Financial Control (COFC), Waseem Al-Mansour.
Syria’s return to ARABOSAI marks a strategic re-entry into the Arab auditing network after a 15-year absence, signaling the country’s intention to reclaim its role in shaping auditing standards and sharing professional knowledge and expertise across the region.
Officials noted that Syria’s participation is not merely symbolic but reflects a clear move to reinforce professional cooperation and restore its natural role in the Arab auditing system.
