An explosion at a munitions depot north of the town of Kafr Takharim in Idleb countryside killed five workers and injured nine others on Tuesday, interior ministry said.
According to the media office of the Internal Security Directorate in Idleb, preliminary findings suggest the blast was linked to activity at a nearby workshop. Rescue teams transported the injured to a local hospital for treatment, while engineering units secured the site and cleared the debris.
