Interior, Health Ministries to boost drug rehabilitation programs

Minister of Interior, Anas Khattab discussed Sunday with Health Minister, Musab al-Ali, cooperation in expanding rehabilitation programs for drug addicts as part of national efforts to combat this phenomenon, Ministry of Interior stated.

The Ministry stated via its Telegram channel that the ministers discussed advancing specialized rehabilitation centers for drug addicts and the expanding of psychological and social support programs.

Both ministers highlighted the importance of rehabilitating drug addicts and reintegrating them into society, while also improving the quality of public health services. They underscored the need for continued joint efforts to increase institutional efficiency and achieve national objectives.
