A landmine explosion injured nine people near Al-Jabin village in northern Hama on Sunday, according to local health authorities.
The blast occurred when a vehicle carrying a group of workers passed over a landmine left by the previous regime. Of the nine injured, several are reported to be in critical condition.
Khaled Al-Samaeel, head of emergency and ambulance services in Hama, told SANA that the victims were transported to Al-Suqaylabiyah National Hospital for immediate treatment, with seven of them in critical condition.
