Polling centers in some electoral districts have closed after electoral colleges casted their votes in the first parliamentary elections in Syria.
Spokesperson for the Higher Election Committee, Nawar Najmeh told SANA that voting has concluded at the polling centers in Daraa’s al-Sanamin, Baniyas in Tartus, and al-Qusayr in Homs. Vote counting has begun.
Also in Aleppo, Damascus, and Homs some election centers closed and began vote counting , according to SANA reporters
