Weather Forecast: Above-Average Autumn Temperatures Persist Across Syria

Syria still experiences a spell of moderate autumn weather, with temperatures trending above seasonal norms due to the sustained influence of a high-pressure atmospheric system. This meteorological pattern is contributing to widespread clear skies and relatively warm conditions across the majority of Syrian territories.

According to the Syrian Meteorology Department, temperatures are forecasted to rise by approximately 2 to 5 degrees Celsius above the long-term average in most regions. Exceptions include the coastal and central zones, where temperature deviations are expected to be less pronounced.

Atmospheric conditions in the eastern provinces, including Al-Jazeera and the Badia semi- desert, are anticipated to be dusty and hazy, potentially affecting visibility and air quality. Wind patterns will vary regionally:

In western and southern areas, winds will predominantly blow from the west to southwest.

Temperatures will be in Damascus 33/20, in Lattakia 31/21 and in Aleppo 34/20.
