Amman – SANA – A delegation from Syria’s Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management inspected Jordan’s experience in emergency response during a visit to Amman, where they were briefed on the 911 system, civil defense operations, and specialized training programs.

The delegation, led by Deputy Minister Hussam Hallaq and Civil Defense head Munir Mustafa, also visited the Royal Jordanian Air Force, Public Security Directorate, and teams that helped extinguish recent fires in Syria, expressing gratitude for Jordan’s support. They highlighted the Jordanian firefighting team’s role in battling the Lattakia fires as a reflection of the Kingdom’s historic solidarity.
The visit also included a tour of the Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II Academy for Civil Protection, where Syrian officials reviewed advanced postgraduate programs in emergency and disaster management.
