Information Minister marks Anniversary of Ghouta chemical massacre

Damascus, SANA- On the anniversary of the Eastern Ghouta chemical massacre committed by criminal al-Assad regime, which killed more than 1,000 civilians, Information Minister Dr. Hamza al-Mustafa said the tragedy embodies both the pain and the defiance of the Syrian people.

In a post on X, al-Mustafa stressed the need to hold perpetrators accountable, recalling the harrowing scenes of victims and the resilience that emerged from the devastation. He said the massacre remains etched in historical memory, symbolizing a nation’s suffering but also its determination to continue the struggle for freedom.
