Damascus, SANA-The Azerbaijani Embassy in Damascus highlighted that the inauguration of the Azerbaijani gas pipeline through Turkish territory to Syria today reflects the political desire of the Azerbaijani leadership to support the reconstruction and economic development process in friendly Syria.
“Congratulations to the friendly Syrian people on the occasion of the inauguration of the gas pipeline, through which natural gas will be transported from Azerbaijan to Syria via Turkey.” the embassy tweeted on its X platform.
In the presence of Syrian Energy Minister Mohammad al-Bashir, Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar and Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov along with representatives of Qatar Development Fund, regional gas transmission pipeline linking Syria to Turkey was inaugurated.
