Washington, SANA -Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that Tesla has completed its first autonomous delivery of a car from the factory to a customer’s home, noting that the delivery took place “within the city of Austin” and included transit via highways.
According to Bloomberg, the unmanned delivery process is an extension of the capabilities Tesla demonstrated last April, when it released a video showing cars moving autonomously from the production lines at its Texas factory to the shipping yards before being shipped out.
Tesla, the electric car company, was founded in 2003 and is a global leader in automotive technology development.
