At least 35 Palestinians martyred by Israeli fire waiting for aid, Gaza

Occupied Jerusalem SANA-Thirty-five Palestinians were martyred Saturday and dozens injured as Israeli army fire in various areas across the Gaza Strip, including 21 individuals who were waiting for humanitarian aid.

According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, the Israeli army opened fire on people waiting for aid west of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip and at al-Shuhada Junction in the central region, resulting in the deaths of 21 Palestinians and injuries to many others.

Israeli airstrikes also targeted the neighborhoods of al-Zaytoun, al-Tuffah, and al-Shuja’iya in Gaza City, killing 11 Palestinians and wounding others.

In Khan Younis, southern Gaza, Israeli aircraft bombed a tent sheltering displaced persons in the al-Mawasi area, leading to the deaths of three Palestinians.

According to medical sources, the total number of Palestinian fatalities since the start of the ongoing Israeli offensive on Gaza on October 7, 2023, has risen to 55,908, with 131,138 others injured.

The Israeli army continues to wage a comprehensive war on the Gaza Strip, involving killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, in defiance of all international appeals and the orders of the International Court of Justice to halt the offensive.
