Riyadh, Aug. 31 (SANA) Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdul Salam Haykal inaugurated the Syrian pavilion at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, marking Syria’s first participation in the technology exhibition and conference.
Syria is taking part in the event for the first time through a number of entities and startups operating in the communications and technology sector. The Syrian participation is aimed at showcasing the latest Syrian technology projects and solutions and exploring new opportunities for cooperation and investment.
Haykal toured the LEAP 2026 exhibition alongside Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Alswaha and Saudi officials.
During the tour, Haykal was briefed on the latest innovations and technologies on display at the exhibition.
