Occupied Jerusalem, April 27 (SANA) Israeli forces carried out raids and detention campaigns Monday across several areas of occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
The operations included the establishment of checkpoints, restrictions on movement and a series of arrests in different locations.
WAFA said four Palestinians were detained in Bethlehem, while three children were arrested in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron in the southern West Bank.
In Qalandiya refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces detained the father of a former prisoner and held around 30 others, stormed a residential building, expelled its residents and converted it into a military position.
Similar operations were reported in Nablus, where several Palestinians were detained.
Israeli forces also raided the town of Surda, north of Ramallah, setting up a checkpoint on the main road and stopping several vehicles.
Additional checkpoints were installed at the entrances to Hebron and surrounding towns, with roads closed using iron gates, concrete blocks and earth mounds.
The Israeli military maintains around 1,000 checkpoints and gates across the West Bank, restricting movement between different areas.
Palestinian cities and towns continue to experience regular incursions, which include detentions and reported damage to property.
