Jordan condemns attack on Kurdistan Region of Iraq president’s residence
Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Amman, March 29 (SANA) Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday condemned an attack targeting the residence of Kurdistan Region of Iraq President Nechirvan Barzani in Duhok, describing it as an “unacceptable assault” and a violation of Iraq’s security and stability.

In a statement carried by the official Jordan News Agency, the ministry affirmed the Kingdom’s full solidarity with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, and its support for their security and territorial integrity.

Earlier, security sources in the Iraq’s Kurdistan Region reported that drones had targeted Barzani’s residence.
