Gaza City, Jan. 31 (SANA) At least 29 Palestinians were killed and dozens more wounded in Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip early Saturday, according to Palestinian civil defense and medical officials.
Civil Defense sources said 13 people were killed in an Israeli strike that hit the Sheikh Radwan police station in northwestern Gaza City. Search efforts were continuing for people believed to be trapped under the rubble.
In separate attacks, one Palestinian was killed and others wounded when Israeli forces opened fire on a group east of Jabalia in northern Gaza, while three others were killed in an airstrike that hit a house in al-Nasr neighborhood of western Gaza City, local officials said.
Medical sources reported that five people, including three children and two women, were killed in an airstrike targeting an apartment in the al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City.
In southern Gaza, paramedics at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis said an Israeli airstrike killed seven members of the same family — a man, three of his sons, and three grandchildren — after their tent was struck in the Asdaa area northwest of the city.
The strikes come amid continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement that took effect on Oct. 10, 2025, under U.S. and international mediation.
According to Gaza’s Government Media Office, more than 500 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire came into force. The ceasefire followed a conflict that began in October 2023 and caused widespread destruction across Gaza, with the United Nations estimating reconstruction costs at around $70 billion.
