Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani met Saturday in Manama with U.S. Special Envoy to Syria Tom Barrack to discuss recent regional developments and ongoing efforts to enhance stability across the Middle East.
According to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the two officials reviewed the strong bonds of friendship and strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States. They emphasized the importance of continued coordination and cooperation to support regional development, prosperity, and mutual interests.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on the latest regional challenges and their implications for security and stability. Both sides underscored the need to promote dialogue and diplomatic solutions to reduce tensions and escalation, reaffirming their commitment to achieving comprehensive and sustainable peace for all peoples of the region.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 21st edition of the Manama Dialogue 2025, a high-profile forum that brings together leaders, ministers, and senior officials from around 60 countries, along with prominent experts, thinkers, and decision-makers in the fields of security, defense, politics, and energy.
