The UN office said in a recent report published on its website that settlers carried out 126 attacks affecting 70 towns in the West Bank, and damaging more than 4,000 olive trees.
“Two weeks into the start of the 2025 harvest, we have already seen severe attacks by armed settlers against Palestinian men, women, children, and foreign solidarity activists,” the report said.
The report pointed out that settlers from newly established settlements have imposed restrictions on access to olive fields in many locations across the West Bank. It reported more that 60 settler attacks against Palestinians during the past week alone, in which 17 people were injured and 19 vehicles were vandalized.
