The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Friday that it had received the bodies of 30 Palestinians from Israeli authorities via the Red Cross. This brings the total number of bodies received so far to 225.
In its daily report, the ministry said its medical teams are continuing to process the bodies according to established protocols, pending examinations, documentation, and delivery to their families.
The bodies are part of a U.S.-backed ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel aimed at halting hostilities in the Gaza Strip. The ceasefire went into effect October 10.
