Israeli forces arrested 20 Palestinians on Wednesday during raids in several areas across the West Bank, according to Palestinian news agency WAFA.
Palestinian authorities reported that Israeli troops stormed the cities of Ramallah and al-Bireh, the al-Dheisheh refugee camp south of Bethlehem, Aqtaba neighborhood in Tulkarm, Kafr Qalil near Nablus, and Azzun town east of Qalqilya. During the raids, Israeli forces vandalized property, destroyed an agricultural facility, and arrested 20 civilians.
In a related incident, Israeli settlers attacked Atara town, north of Ramallah, setting fire to two vehicles and spray-painting racist graffiti.
Meanwhile, Israeli troops forced shop owners in Huwara, south of Nablus, to close their businesses and raided commercial premises in the nearby Balata refugee camp, causing significant material damage.
Over the past two years, Israeli forces have escalated their operations in the West Bank, killing 1,062 Palestinians, injuring 10,000, and arresting more than 20,000, including 1,600 children.
