Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ovania in the Quneitra countryside, a SANA reporter confirmed.
After establishing the checkpoint, Israeli forces halted passing vehicles and conducted searches. The checkpoint was dismantled about an hour later, with the forces returning to the Syrian occupied lands.
Israeli forces have been carrying out frequent incursions into Syrian territory, violating the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, international law, and UN resolutions. Syria continues to condemn these actions and urges the international community to take a stronger stance to prevent further violations.
