Israeli troops arrested nine Palestinians during raids on various areas in the West Bank in the past 24 hours.
At least nine Palestinians, including two children, were arrested in the occupied West Bank during the last few hours, according to local and Palestinian security sources.
The Palestinian WAFA news agency reported that Israeli forces stormed villages and towns in Ramallah, Nablus, Bethlehem, Hebron, and the Old City, raiding Palestinian homes and arresting nine of them.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club confirmed that the occupation authorities renewed administrative detention orders against 60 detainees, including two journalists.
Meanwhile, settlers cut down dozens of olive trees in villages east of Ramallah, while others stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound under heavy protection from Israeli police, engaging in provocative acts.
Israel has escalated its attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank since October 7.2023 in Gaza, with more than 20,000 arrests, including approximately 1,600 children and 595 women.
